The event is sponsored by the WKCTC Sustainability Committee, Earth Day Task Force, and Paducah Junior College Foundation. They wish to thank the supporting groups participating in the Earth Day Celebration.

"We are excited about this year's Earth Day Celebration and all the great learning opportunities and conversations the day will bring about the importance of our environment," said Dr. Bobby Ann Lee, WKCTC biology professor and Sustainability Committee chair. "Not only do we invite everyone in the community to join us, but we will also welcome more than 100 area high school students to the celebration.
