Paducah, KY (01/09/2019) — Next week West Kentucky Community and Technical College's Paducah School of Art and Design (PSAD) opens Black and White-Recent Works by Randy Simmons and Evin Dubois, a faculty exhibition of large scale charcoal drawings and sculptural.

This two-person exhibition is complemented by Bright Futures 4, an exhibition of works by students attending regional high schools, in PSAD's Alcove Galleries. "As with other exhibitions this year, we have turned our gaze inward, focusing our presentations on the work of individuals and groups with ties to the art school in celebration of our tenth year anniversary" says PSAD director Paul Aho. "Black and White showcases works by the longest serving and the newest members of our faculty, with Randy Simmons teaching for the college long before PSAD was established, and Evin Dubois having joined us as sculpture instructor this year. Like all of our faculty, they are outstanding artists as well as teachers and we are proud to recognize them as such."

Black and White and Bright Futures 4 run through March 1. Gallery hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturdays.
