WKCTC's Seniors Learning for Fun Spring Program begins February 4

Paducah, KY (01/28/2020) — West Kentucky Community and Technical College's Senior Learning for Fun Spring 2020 Program begins Tuesday, February 4 and ends Thursday, May 21.

A variety of interesting programs will be offered to include:

Individuals may register for one or all of the classes for a fee of $30. All programs will be held at WKCTC's Emerging Technology Center in either Room 109 or 215, except for the program at Grace Episcopal Church. The church is located at 820 Broadway in Paducah.

Registered participants may also sign up for a one-day chartered bus field trip to West Kentucky Aquaponics in Benton, Ky., to observe fish and produce being grown. The bus will depart from First Christian Church of Paducah Thursday, May 21 at 9 a.m. The church is located at 415 Audubon Drive.

Participants will travel on the bus to Kentucky Village State Park for lunch and a talk by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers on the Kentucky Lock Addition Project before returning to Paducah about 3:30 p.m. The additional cost for the trip is $40. Lunch is included.

Checks can be made out and mailed to WKCTC Workforce Solutions, P.O. Box 7380, Paducah, KY 42002-7380. Participants can also register in the Emerging Technology Center, Room 133 or at the first talk February 4 at 2 p.m. in the Emerging Technology Building, Room 109.
