Jami Trevarrow of West Paducah Graduates from WKCTC

Jami Trevarrow of West Paducah, KY was one of more than 700 candidates for graduation who recently completed their classwork for an associate's degree, diploma or certificate. More than 200 students participated in West Kentucky Community and Technical College 2015 Spring Commencement Ceremonies May 9, 2015 at the Luther F. Carson Four Rivers Center.

Trevarrow was one of several students to receive a certificate in Medicaid Nurse Aide.

Paducah City Commissioner and keynote speaker Sandra Wilson gave the graduates a list of ten top things to remember as they moved to the next chapter in their lives. Among the advice she gave the graduates included to trust their instincts, to not be afraid to explore new ideas and to strive to keep positive thoughts. "Never underestimate yourself or influence," Wilson said. "Someone is looking to your as their mentor, role model, leader, advisor or friend. Lead them wisely."
