Jason McGregory of Paducah Meets US Department of Education Officials at WKCTC

Jason McGregory of Paducah, KY was among several students who demonstrated what they are learning at West Kentucky Community and Technical College to U.S. Department of Education officials September 13, 2016.

Kim R. Ford, U.S Department of Education Deputy Assistant Secretary in the Office of Career, Technical and Adult Education visited WKCTC on September 13 as part of the seventh annual U.S. Department of Education back-to-school bus tour to celebrate progress in communities and states across the country. WKCTC was the only community college and only institution in Kentucky visited as part of this 5-day tour.

Ford previously served as the Dean of Workforce Development and Lifelong Learning at the University of the District of Columbia Community College (UDC-CC). She along with Daniel Gaytan, U.S. Department of Education policy analyst in the Office of Career, Technical, and Adult Education tour several buildings including the Emerging Technology Center (ETC), Allied Health Building's Multidisciplinary Simulation Lab and the Anderson Technology Building's student services area.
