Student Organization To Support Treatment of Child Abuse

Kelsey Couch of Paducah was among six student's in West Kentucky Community & Technical College's Alpha Epsilon Deta organization whos one of The Justice Run against Child Abuse was West Kentucky Community & Technical College's Alpha Epsilon Beta's fourth annual fundraiser for the treatment and prevention of child abuse. All proceeds from the race went to Child Watch, a non-profit organization that provides a variety of services to abused children.

Alpha Epsilon Beta is WKCTC's student criminal justice organization. Over the past four years the students have raised over $,5000 in their fight against child abuse. "I am very proud of their efforts and very appreciative of the various businesses, organizations, and the community who have supported our efforts," said associate professor Gary Reese. "This year we were joined by the Paducah Human Rights Commission and had sent donations from 9 businesses from across western Kentucky."
