Paducah Short Story Author Matt Jaeger to Visit WKCTC April 4

Paducah, KY (03/30/2018) — Short story author Matt Jaeger will visit West Kentucky Community and Technical College April 4 at 11 a.m. in the Matheson Library Reading Room.

Jaeger, a native of Paducah, is author of three collections of shorts stories - The Caretakers, All Have the Same Blindness, and The Captives. He will share some of his favorite stories from these collections and discuss writing techniques during the free one-hour presentation.

Jaeger created and facilitates the Shorts & Stouts literary discussion group at Paducah's Dry Ground Brewing Company and was co-founder and fiction editor for the young adult literary magazine Stone Crowns. Currently, he works as a youth services librarian at the McCracken County Public Library and is completing a middle grade novel titled The Creation of Lilith Pomegranate.
