Students can also earn GED and college credential at same time
Paducah, KY (02/27/2019) — Registration for the 2019 summer and fall classes at West Kentucky Community and Technical College begins March 1. Four summer sessions will be offered and begin May 20. Fall classes begin August 19.
"We encourage students to register early to ensure they get the classes they want for the summer and fall," said Emily Peck, WKCTC vice president of student services. "We have a wonderful family atmosphere, and we invite all those who want to come to college to be a part of the WKCTC family."
New students may register for classes in WKCTC's Advising Center and meet face to face with an advisor to discuss their career goals and pathway to success. The center is located in room 106 in the Anderson Technical Building. Advising Center hours are Monday, 8 a.m.- 6 p.m. and Tuesday-Friday, 8 a.m.- 4 p.m. Currently enrolled WKCTC students should make an appointment with their assigned academic advisors to discuss how they can successfully complete their educational path.
The summer and fall academic calendars can be found on the WKCTC website at https://westkentucky.kctcs.edu/education-training/academic-calendar/index.aspx.
WKCTC has numerous upcoming new student orientations scheduled to provide students and their parents with information to navigate the first semester and beyond.
