WKCTC Community Education Offerings for September Continue

MEDIA RELEAE: Paducah, KY (09/07/2017) — West Kentucky Community and Technical College rounds out its community education offerings for September with a cake decorating and art class as well as a Friday Night Science class for first through fifth graders.

Paducah School of Art and Design Offering

Marbling on Fabric
September 15 and 16, 9:30 a.m. - 3 p.m.
WKCTC's Paducah School of Art and Design
2D and Graphic Design Building, 905 Harrison Street, Room 205
Age: Adults
Instructor: Charlotte Erwin
Cost: $120

Friday Night Science Offering

Ninja Science
September 15, 5 p.m. - 7 p.m.
WKCTC's Emerging Technology Center, Room 140
Age: Grades 1-5
Instructor: Jason Lindsey
Cost: $25

Cake Decorating Offering

Cupcake Basics
September 21, 6 p.m. - 8 p.m.
WKCTC's Emerging Technology Center Cyber Cafe
Age: Adults
Instructor: Linda Mayes
Cost: $28.50

Learn easy buttercream decorating techniques, like swirls, stars, rosettes and more! Participants will then combine creations on top of their cupcakes for fun and unique designs. Great introduction to Wilton Method classes. No experience necessary and recommended for all skill levels. Student project class supplies on website - ws.kctcs.edu/westkentucky, click on Cake Decorating. Additional supply cost: $13.

Preregistration is required for all classes and early registration is encouraged. The registration deadline is seven days prior to class starting date. Classes may be cancelled due to lack of enrollment. Register online at ws.kctcs.edu/westkentucky or by calling 270-534-3335.
