WKCTC's Study Abroad Program Holiday Poinsettia Sale

Community Asked to Help Make Study Abroad Trip Possible for Students

Paducah, KY (11/16/2017) — West Kentucky Community and Technical College students are selling holiday poinsettias to help pay for their educational study abroad trip to Austria, Germany and Switzerland in May.

"This is an annual fundraiser to help our students have the opportunity to study abroad and make life-long memories," said Pat Blaine, trip tour leader and WKCTC education professor. "We are asking the community to help make this trip possible for students who might not otherwise be able to go. Plus, this is a wonderful opportunity for everyone to brighten their homes for the holidays with beautiful poinsettias."

Poinsettias can be ordered in a variety of sizes and colors, including new this year, a Christmas Cactus and a Mumsettia (a cross between a red poinsettia and a mum). Prices range from $13 to $25. Contact Pat Blaine for a full list of poinsettias available for purchase.
