WKCTC to host first Community Resource Day May 30
Paducah, KY (05/14/2019) — West Kentucky Community and Technical College will host its first Community Resource Day May 30 in Haws Gymnasium from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.
Local community support providers will be on campus to discuss the services and resources they offer. Some of the participating organizations include Four Rivers Behavioral Health, Scholar House Paducah, Family Service Society, and many others. Numerous WKCTC programs will also be featured, including Accelerate You!, the Matheson Tutoring Center, and Financial Aid office.
"The goal is to provide our community the opportunity to learn about resources available within the area that are geared towards helping individuals overcome barriers standing in the way of their success. " said Mollie Bremer, WKCTC Recruitment Specialist and Community Resource Day Coordinator.
