Wastelanders Summer Solstice Show Opens June 23 at Paducah School of Art & Design
Paducah, KY (06/12/2025) — The Wastelanders Summer Solstice Show - a vibrant celebration of artists from the Paducah, Kentucky area - will open Monday, June 23 at the Paducah School of Art & Design.
The group's first show was in 2007 in group co-founder Sarah Roush's Red Ink Gallery. Since that time, the Wastelanders have presented over two dozen exhibitions in Paducah, Lexington, Cadiz, and Mayfield, Kentucky. This year's show features diverse works from talented artists in Paducah, reflecting the region's creative spirit, including Paula Danby, Mark Donham, Curtis Grace, Jason Hargrove, Toney Little, LaNelle Mason and Ben Walker. The guest artists for this exhibition are Dani Brown and Kathy Knotts.
The Wastelanders Summer Solstice Show may be seen at the Paducah School of Art & Design Bill Ford Gallery at 905 Harrison Street, Paducah. An opening reception will be held Monday, June 23, from 5 to 7 p.m. The Helen LaFrance Exhibition in the PJC Library will also be open during the reception. All events are free and open to the public. The exhibition runs through August 6, with gallery hours Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
