WKCTC opening Business Immersion Center November 21

West Kentucky Community and Technical College will open its new Business Immersion Center during a ceremony Thursday, November 21. The ceremony begins at 3:30 p.m. in the center's location on the second floor of Rosenthal Hall. Remarks begin at 4:15 p.m.
The Business Immersion Center allows the college's business program to bring enhanced technology and innovation into the classroom while surrounding students with a collaborative, creative workspace. The center will provide student-centered learning opportunities, professionalism, workplace readiness, and entrepreneurial development to WKCTC's business administration students.
The goal of the center is to immerse students into workplace-based simulations to increase their soft skills development and professional manner, to promote a work-ready community insuring business students have the skill set needed for economic growth throughout the region, and to create and foster relationships with businesses and government entities for internships and employment opportunities.
