WKCTC Participating in Statewide Express Enrollment Event This Week

Get Help to Register for Fall Classes

WKCTC MEDIA RELEASE: Paducah, KY (06/19/2017) — West Kentucky Community and Technical College is offering individuals a one-stop enrollment opportunity this week to register for fall classes. Fall classes begin August 14.

Express Enrollment Week is a statewide event for all community and technical colleges to help with one-on-one advising regarding enrollment, financial aid, scheduling and other information that prospective students need to complete for the fall semester. Additionally, if an individual has not taken a required test, that can be scheduled as well.

WKCTC's Express Enrollment Week will be held July 19-22 in the Anderson Technical Building's Advising Center, Room 106 from 8 a.m. - 6 p.m. WKCTC representatives will be on hand to help potential students complete the enrollment process for the fall semester.

"The goal is to make the enrollment process as simple and fast as possible. We believe if we can simplify these first important steps, we can help relieve anxiety many prospective students have about college," said Dr. Nate Slaton, WKCTC vice president of enrollment management. "We want more students to feel comfortable about going to college and to know that WKCTC is where they belong."

For more information call 1- 855-GO-WKCTC or make an appointment by visiting Express Enrollment Week site at kctcs.edu/express, click on the yellow WKCTC location.

WKCTC is operating on a special summer schedule through July 14 with offices generally opened longer from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday-Thursday and some departments are closed Fridays. The Advising Center is closed Fridays. For full list of summer operating hours, visit westkentucky.kctcs.edu/news/2017/20170601-summer-hours.aspx.
