WKCTC partners with middle schools/local business in McCracken and Graves counties for free college prep classes

Paducah, KY (08/30/2019) — West Kentucky Community and Technical College's Skills U is partnering with 21st Century Community Learning Centers in McCracken and Graves counties and the Mayfield Plaza Apartments to offer free GED and English as a Second Language (ESL) classes.

GED classes will be held at the apartment complex Monday and Wednesday evenings between September 16 and December 18. The address is 405 Babb Drive.

ESL classes will be held at Mayfield Middle School Monday and Thursday evenings between September 18 and December 16. Orientation/intake will be on September 16 from 5-6 p.m. at the school, which is located at 112 West College Street.

ESL classes will be also offered at Reidland Middle School Tuesday and Thursday evenings between September 17 and October 29. During the week of Fall Break, the class will not meet on Tuesday, October 8 or Thursday, October 10. Classes will be held in the 21st Century Building located in the back parking lot next to the football field. The school address is 5351 Benton Road in Paducah.

All classes at each location will be held from 5:30-7:30 p.m.
