This year's judge for the PSAD student exhibition is Robert Lopez, interim director for the School of Art and Design and associate professor of design at Southern Illinois University-Carbondale. A minimum of $500 in awards will be presented at the judge's discretion. In addition, a President's Choice Purchase Award will also be presented with a cash prize of $300.

Works on display will include paintings, drawings, design projects, ceramics, photography, metals and jewelry, mixed media, sculpture, fiber art, and multimedia.

"PSAD's annual student exhibition remains our biggest and brightest moment of the year. "We are delighted to have Robert Lopez from SIU as judge of this year's show and to once again award the President's Purchase Award, a tradition now in its eighth year."

The student exhibition runs from May 2-8, 2019, and is free and open to the public. Gallery hours are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Saturday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
