WKCTC welcomes new Workforce Solutions development training specialist
Paducah, KY (12/04/2019) — West Kentucky Community and Technical College welcomes Janece Everett as the Workforce Solutions development training specialist.
Everett has been putting her education and career experience to work at the college developing and marketing customized training programs to help regional businesses and their employees be more productive.
She grew up in Paducah where her parents were educators. She attended Paducah Community College, now West Kentucky Community and Technical College (WKCTC). She earned a bachelor's of science degree from Murray State University in marketing and management.
Prior to her current position at WKCTC, Everett worked throughout the region in telecommunications, pharmaceutical sales and eventually served as senior field representative for retired U.S. Congressman Ed Whitfield. She worked with him to promote economic development and provide constituent services. She also served on many regional boards and committees. Upon Congressman Whitfield's retirement in 2016, Everett served as a regional cancer control specialist for the University of Louisville. She currently serves on the Site Based Decision Making Council for McCracken County High School and McCracken County FFA Alumni board.
Everett and her husband, Danny, have two children. Her interests include interior design, shopping and being an American Saddlebred Horse enthusiast.
