Edward Jones Investments' commitment to WKCTC's Community Scholarship Program helps continue program's success

Paducah, KY (03/29/2019) — Edward Jones Investments celebrated the company's donation of $20,000 to West Kentucky Community and Technical College's Community Scholarship Program (CSP) during a check presentation at the college's annual Job, Career, and Transfer Fair March 28.

"We are celebrating this partnership between the Edward Jones financial advisors in Paducah and the ten-year commitment we made as a charter donor to the Community Scholarship Program," said Ben Brazzell, Edward Jones Investments financial advisor. "The check we are presenting today represents our ninth year of commitment to a $20,000 total donation to the program."

Lee Emmons, WKCTC vice president of institutional advancement and Paducah Junior College Foundation executive director, said the support of Edward Jones Investments continues the success of the college's CSP.

"The generous support of corporate contributors and our local governments makes this unique scholarship program possible," Emmons said. "Not many communities have such a program, and we are grateful for companies like Edward Jones who invest in the CSP, giving local students important educational opportunities that change lives."
