Violence in the Workplace Training at WKCTC

Paducah, KY (05/26/2018) — West Kentucky Community and Technical College's Workforce Solutions is offering a professional training conference regarding issues related to violence in the workplace May 30 in the college's Emerging Technology Center, Room 109.
The cost of Violence in the Workplace is $35 and pre-registration is required.
Human resources personnel, supervisors and managers can gain insight into the following topics:
- Drug Awareness in the Workplace, 8:45 - 9:30 a.m.
- Workplace Violence and Active Shooter, 9:45 - 10:30 a.m.
- Incident Response, "Stop the Bleed", 10:45 - 11:30 a.m.
Lunch will be served during the conference from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Conference attendees can also participate in a free 90-minute "Stop the Bleed" certificate course that begins at 1 p.m. The course will cover steps to help those injured before professional personnel can arrive.
