WKCTC Annual 5K Run to Fight Child Abuse April 21

Registration Going on Now

MEDIA ADVISORY: Paducah, KY (04/13/2018) — For the seventh consecutive year, West Kentucky Community and Technical College's student justice club, Alpha Epsilon Beta, is hosting a fundraiser to fight child abuse. The club's fundraising efforts will culminate in its annual 5K run that will be held April 21 at 5 p.m. Check-in begins at 3 p.m. at the college's Anderson Technical Building.

All profits from the club's 5K fundraising efforts will go to Child Watch, a long established non-profit organization that works to treat and prevent child abuse. To date, the club has raised over $10,000 for Child Watch. The club hopes to put the total closer to $12,000 with this year's event.

A fun run for children will be held after the completion of the 5K event.

Race registration form can be located at: westkentucky.kctcs.edu/media/news-and-events/2018/JusticeRunRegForm.pdf.

The media is encouraged to attend.
