WKCTC Diesel Technology Program Earns ASE Accreditation

Paducah, KY (01/07/2025) — West Kentucky Community and Technical College (WKCTC) is proud to announce its Diesel Technology, Medium Heavy Truck program has achieved ASE Training Program Accreditation from the ASE Education Foundation. This accreditation is a testament to the program's adherence to industry standards and its commitment to preparing students for successful careers in the diesel technology field.

The ASE Education Foundation's evaluation process for the program included a thorough review of facilities, instructional hours, curriculum, equipment, and faculty qualifications. The accreditation recognizes WKCTC's commitment to providing students with high-quality education and hands-on training, using the latest tools and technology in the industry.

"We are extremely proud to receive this prestigious recognition from the ASE Education Foundation," said Eric Sills, Program Coordinator of Diesel Technology at WKCTC. "This accreditation validates the strength of our program, which is designed to give students the skills they need to excel in the growing diesel technology field. Our graduates are now better prepared than ever to enter the workforce and contribute to the industry's success."

The ASE Education Foundation, a leader in setting training standards for automotive, diesel, and collision repair programs, ensures that accredited programs meet the highest educational and technical standards. This certification positions WKCTC's Diesel Technology program as a leader in the industry, providing students with valuable skills that are in high demand.
