WKCTC Spring 2025 registration begins and college opens applications for 2025-26 scholarships October 1
Paducah, KY (09/27/2024) — Fall may have just begun, but enrollment for the Spring 2025 semester at West Kentucky Community and Technical College (WKCTC) will soon be on the minds of new and returning students.
Spring semester begins in early January, and students interested in enrolling for classes are encouraged to begin apply or meet with their advisor beginning October 1.
"Our advising office is ready to help students who are currently enrolled to plan their spring schedule," said Tammy Maines, Interim Dean of Enrollment Management. "And our Student Services team is also ready to assist new students with the application process so they can be ready to start college in January."
The WKCTC scholarship application also opens on October 1. "We encourage current and new students to apply for WKCTC scholarships for the upcoming year," said Kyle Fisher, Manager of Advancement for the Paducah Junior College Foundation, which supports many of the scholarships offered at the college. "Over the past year, WKCTC students received $1.5 million in scholarships, including those offered from the Paducah Junior College Foundation, the Community Scholarship Program, and the Work Ready Kentucky Scholarship for in-demand career programs."
Information about 2025-26 WKCTC scholarships and the application may be found by visiting the WKCTC website, and then searching for "scholarships." The college also offers two scholarships for new students with the McKenzie Scott Opportunities Scholarship (S.O.S.) for ages 24 and under and the Adult Promise Scholarship for ages 25 or older.
