McCracken County Resident Justin Jackson Named WKCTC's July Student of the Month
WKCTC's Student of the Month program is designed to recognize the accomplishments of students on campus. Individuals selected must be currently enrolled at WKCTC and have maintained a cumulative grade point average of 2.0 or higher and are nominated on the basis of exceptional performance, personal attributes, academic excellence and active participation in various student organizational activities.

WKCTC Welcomes New Graduates into Nursing Profession
More than 45 West Kentucky Community and Technical College registered nursing graduates and 34 practical nursing graduates received nursing pins during a special ceremony in May. The nurse pinning ceremony is a symbolic welcoming of newly graduated nurses into the nursing profession. WKCTC nursing faculty presented each new nurse with the unique pin. Graduates eligible for pins are listed below.

WKCTC Student Named to 2014 Kentucky Physical Therapist Assistant All-Academic Team
Benton resident Shea Wilson was one of nine students named to the 2014 Kentucky Physical Therapy Association All-Academic Team (KPTA). The Kentucky Physical Therapist Association and RehabCare, a leading provider of rehabilitation services, bestowed the honor to students from Kentucky's PTA and Doctorate of Physical Therapy programs.

Four West Kentucky Community and Technical College students were among more than 1,800 of America's best and brightest college students who recently traveled to the historic city of Nashville to make some history of their own as they showcased their talents as future business leaders and vied for the opportunity to win over $79,000 in cash awards.
